Growth Mindset

In a growth mindset, people believe that their most basic abilities can be developed through dedication and hard work - brains and talent are just the starting point. This view creates a love of learning and a resilience that is essential for great accomplishment. Growth Mindset describes how a child faces challenges and setbacks. Kids with a growth mindset believe their abilities can improve over time. Having a growth mindset means more than just accepting feedback and being open-minded. Kids with this mindset take feedback, and what they learn from experience, and create strategies for improving. They believe that even if they fail at something, they can still succeed.
